Gold's Gym SoCal is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Director of Personal Training to join our thriving family. Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly production personal training revenue
- Actively participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding Fitness Managers, Asst Fitness Managers and personal trainers.
- Train, coach and supervise the staff in accomplishing daily tasks and to maximize sales, including conducting daily production meetings
- Schedule staff in compliance with operational requirements and payroll budgets
- Oversee performance of Fitness Managers/Leads and Personal Trainers to ensure sales and service of personal training, compliance with company policies and procedures, and ongoing evaluation of the clubs’ performance to achieve established goals
- Provide oral and written guidance, coaching, performance improvement plans, annual performance reviews
- Ensure that proper channels of communication exist between the designated home club and executive team
- Assist in solving problems that affect the designated home club’s sales performance and the members’ satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Passionate about making a difference through fitness
- Ambition, drive, honesty, enthusiasm, energy, personal integrity
- 3+ years of management experience in the Fitness Industry and 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience in managing a stand-alone, high-end fitness club
- Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting
- Ability to recruit, hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work extended evening and weekends hours
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field preferred
- NCCA Certified Fitness Professional
- CPR and AED certified
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs. Standing or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform are also required
