Responsibilities:
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, replacing/tightening broken handles and holders.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap and toilet paper
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed,
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
Compensación: $15.00 per hour
