Job description

Gold's Gym is looking for an outgoing office assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks and customer service in our office. Hours are Monday - Thursday 9 am - 5 pm and Friday 9 am - 3 pm.   Must be able to type and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, data entry, answering phone calls and emails, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and performing other general office clerk duties. Professional and courteous customer service a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry - maintaining and entering information into our database
  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Managing files and member data
  • Contacting members when needed
  • Responding to members in a timely and efficient manner
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing
  • Deposits
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas
  • Performing general office clerk duties
  • Maintaining supply inventory
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience as an office assistant or in a related field
  • Knowledge in Word and Excel
  • Able to handle all situations in a professional and courteous manner
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Work well with others
  • Customer service attitude
  • Friendly outgoing professional attitude every day
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.50 - $9.50 per hour
Compensation: $8.50 - $9.50 per hour
