When you come to work, you'll be:
Completing management tasks such as:
· Manager and maintain gym budget
· Oversee all sales revenue, process, and systems
· Manage monitor and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managers
· Monitor the hiring, training, retention, and development of all gym staff
· Primarily schedule all staff to include trainers, managers and sales teams
· Properly delegate, monitor and evaluate responsibilities and results of sales teams through the sales managers
· Develop succession planning strategies
Completing Operational tasks such as
· Ensuring that our members have the highest level of service and hospitality in a high-volume retail environment through personal engagement and the development of staff
· Execute effective decision making regarding all member services issues
· Plan, promote and participate in all special events for the Gym on a monthly basis (Corporate Marketing can help assist)
· Effectively maintain the facility at all times using maintenance, janitorial and housekeeping staff
There are some MUST HAVES:
· High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred)
· CPR Certification or ability to get within 30 days of higher
· Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
· Have knowledge and understanding of marketing while being promotionally oriented
· Able to direct and drive sales through various methods to include community outreach
· Must be able to successfully understand testing requirements to include gym tours, telephone inquiries, counselor planner audits, guest card audit, lead box/bowl program, referral programs, and corporate outreach programs.
· Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence
· Ability to achieve and maintain acceptable and aggressive goals for the facility
· Basic to advanced computer skills
· Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
· Desire to be better than you ever have before
